Botanical Plaster Casting Workshop

Spend a creative few hours with us in Garden Gate's beautiful walled therapeutic garden, learning how to make your own botanical plaster casts using leaves, flowers and other natural materials gathered from the garden.
 
Choose the rate that works for you: Supported £30 | Standard £45 | Supporter £55
We offer three ways to pay for exactly the same workshop. The Supported rate is for anyone who would find the standard price difficult to afford; the Standard rate reflects the regular cost of the workshop; and the Supporter rate is for anyone able to pay a little more, helping us keep supported-rate places available and make our workshops more accessible. 
 
During the workshop, we'll explore the garden for interesting botanical forms and textures before arranging them in clay to create a detailed impression. You'll then learn how to mix and pour plaster to capture your design, creating a beautiful botanical relief to take home. You can choose to make a couple of smaller or a single larger cast. 
 
No previous experience is needed. We'll guide you through the process step by step, with plenty of time to experiment and enjoy being creative in the garden.
